Since we were little we hear that time is money. If you do not know how to manage your time, you will not be able to achieve all that can make you happy and satisfied, you’ll have less time for your life, education, your job, your friends and your family. Time should be appreciated as well as money, and also it should be saved.

You must learn to operate and plan your time in the same way as you manage your money. Set goals that you want to achieve shot-term and also define long-term goals (eg within one year, five years and ten years). For each time horizon, define three objective, balanced goals and try to cover personal, business and financial areas of your life. In accordance with your goals, you need to assign time every day, in order to be able achieve them. For example, if you need to learn German language and want to learn it within five years in order to get a promotion, enroll the language course, and assign time each week for this goal, both for lectures as well as for time in which you will learn independently and repeat. When you define your objectives it is required from time to time to check progress and whether you are moving in the direction of achieving your goals. If necessary, you can redefine goals from time to time. For example, you may have changed the job in the meantime, and no longer need German for promotion. If you like it you can continue with lectures but if you don’t – set another target.

If you wisely use your time (and time is as money, a very limited resource) you can become a richer man, and that will enable you to manage your time more efficiently.
